Xander is a classically trained and comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor who’s been teaching since 2017. He found Pilates through his work as a dance theater performer, and it quickly became a guiding force. For Xander, movement work is about celebrating our bodies for exactly how they exist, while working on key functional and strength building techniques that enhance our understanding of movement. In addition to Pilates, Xander holds certifications in Yoga Asana, Pre/Post Natal Exercise, and Reiki 1 and believes it is his duty as an instructor to always be learning and sharing knowledge within his community. In sessions, expect a blend of classical Pilates and contemporary functional movement to challenge the mind-body connection with a whole lot of encouragement and a few laughs along the way. Xander truly believes in the magic of movement and all that it has to offer and he's so grateful to share this passion with you at HABITAT.
